What types of printers can I use and what labels go with them?

BarTrack allows you to easily print order stickers with different types of printers, including Dymo, Zebra and normal printers. Below is an overview of the available printers and sticker options.

Product: BarTrack for Web & BarTrack for Desktop

Intended for: All purchasers

Dymo printers

Dymo printers are designed specifically for printing labels and stickers. With a Dymo printer, you have the following options:

  1. Bar code or QR code: You have a choice between two types of stickers. The QR code is useful in conjunction with the BarTrack App, while barcode sticker printing is recommended when using the BarTrack handheld scanner.
  2. Format: Both stickers have the same size of 52 mm x 84 mm.
  3. No pictures: The Dymo stickers do not allow you to add pictures of the items.
  4. Additional information: On the Dymo stickers you can also see your position in the stock location, the item number, wholesale and order quantity, as well as your minimum and maximum stock.

Zebra printers

Zebra printers are robust and versatile label printers suitable for a variety of applications. With a Zebra printer, you have the following options:

  1. Format: Zebra stickers have a size of 76 mm x 25 mm.
  2. Four types of stickers: You can choose between stickers with or without a picture of the product (if added by the wholesaler) and with a smaller or larger font size.
  3. Customizable information: On the Zebra stickers you can customize a lot of information about the item, such as position, name on label and own item number. Order quantity and minimum and maximum stock are also on the label. For more information on customizing this data, please see our support article on customizing item information.

Normal printers

BarTrack also offers the ability to print order labels using a regular printer. This can be useful if you don't have a specialized label printer. With a normal printer, you have the following options:

  1. A4 sticker sheets: You can use A4 sticker sheets such as the Avery 3651 with a ratio of 52.5 x 29.7 mm per sticker and the Avery 7665 with a ratio of 72 x 21.1 mm per sticker. When using Avery sticker sheets, you have the option of choosing where you want your first sticker on the sheet. This way you can also copy onto sheets that already have stickers off.
  2. Normal paper: You can also print your stickers on normal paper.
  3. Scan list: Instead of QR codes, you can print a list of bar codes.
  4. Additional information: Also on these stickers you can see your position in the stock location, the item number, wholesale and order quantity, as well as your minimum and maximum stock.

Note: Do you have a label printer with different label sizes? No problem! You can still use BarTrack order stickers, as long as the length-to-width ratio of the pdf document remains the same. If you have any questions, contact our support for assistance.
