Manual or automatic approval. What is the difference?

Orderers can add and manage wholesalers. When your wholesaler is selected, you can approve the request first or have this process run automatically.

Product: BarTrack HuB

Intended for: Wholesale employee

When a customer wants to order products from a wholesale supplier through the App, the supplier must grant permission for this. There are two different ways this can be done.

  1. Manual: Every first request from an App user is received in the HuB. The wholesale supplier must grant permission for each user to place orders. To do this, go to Notifications. Click on the bell icon at the top of the screen next to the shopping cart. Then, find the respective user in the list and press accept.
  2. Automatic: By choosing the automatic option, any App user can place an order directly without the need for separate approval. To set this up, go to Settings (gear icon) in the Hub and select 'Suppliers'. Choose the supplier and open the detailed view by clicking on the 'eye' icon at the end of the line. This will open a new screen where you can click on 'Edit' in the top right corner. Scroll down and check the box for 'Automatic approval'. This allows the wholesale supplier to efficiently grant permission to customers to order products via the app or online, or choose to have it done automatically.
