What is an Inventory Sticker?

Inventory Stickers are labels that contain detailed inventory information in addition to the product information. They include an image of the product and a barcode or QR code. These stickers are very convenient because by scanning the barcode using the BarTrack app, you can instantly order the product from your preferred supplier. After scanning the barcode, the order is automatically placed with the wholesale supplier you have selected. This saves you time and effort when ordering your inventory. With the BarTrack inventory manager and the Inventory Stickers, you always have a clear and efficient way to keep track of and order your inventory.

Getting Started with Inventory Stickers

Working with inventory stickers requires a few steps. Follow these to optimize your inventory management:

1. Assign a storage location to each item:
   Make sure each item has a specific location within your storage area. This helps you quickly find what you need and keeps your warehouse organized. You can enter this location in BarTrack. Read this article for more information on adding storage locations and items.
   
   Haven’t defined a location for your item yet? In that case, it’s useful to start with order stickers first. This article explains how order stickers work. You can place an item in the warehouse, link an order sticker to the item, and add a location in BarTrack. The only downside is that an order sticker contains fewer details. Once locations are defined, we recommend re-labeling items with inventory stickers.
2. Print and apply inventory stickers:
   Print inventory stickers for the items in each storage location and apply them in the correct places. This not only provides a visual overview but also simplifies inventory management. Printing stickers can easily be done using this step-by-step guide.
