Automatic ordering of a stock item

With the BarTrack App, you can easily have items ordered automatically. Follow the steps below to activate and manage this process.

Before you can automatically order items in the BarTrack App, you must first configure the settings in BarTrack for Web. Follow the steps below:

Preparation in BarTrack for Web

1. Go to "My Stock":
   Open BarTrack for Web and log in. Click on "My Stock" to view your stock locations.

2. Select a stock location:
   Choose the stock location from which you want the items to be ordered automatically.

3. View the item detail page:
   Press the "eye" on the right side of the item bar to open the detail page.

4. Enable automatic ordering:
   Check "Automatic ordering" in the order settings at the top right. Also fill in the rest of the item order settings in this menu to enable automatic ordering. For more information, see our support article.

Automatic ordering in the BarTrack App

1. Scan the take-out sticker:
   The order stickers have now changed to take-out stickers. Scan the QR code on the sticker with the BarTrack App when you take out stock.

2. Enter quantity:
   Indicate how much you are taking of the item and press send to deduct this number from current stock.

3. Automatic order suggestion:
   When the current stock drops below the "Order at" value, BarTrack will automatically make an order suggestion by placing the item in your shopping cart. You can then decide whether to place the order and how much to order.
