Managing stock item information in BarTrack
Setting inventory item information in the BarTrack App is simple and efficient. You can quickly adjust details such as order quantity and stock levels in two ways.

What are stock item settings?
Inventory item settings allow you to adjust specific details for each item in your stock. These details also appear on the order label:
Order settings:

Order quantity: Set the quantity you want to order by default.

Minimum stock: Define the minimum stock level. When the actual stock drops below this value, BarTrack will reorder automatically.

Current stock: Update the current stock to keep your overview accurate.

Maximum stock: Define the maximum stock you want to keep.

Reorder at: Set the stock level that triggers an automatic order (when auto-ordering is enabled).

Location information:

Position: Adjust the product’s position within a stock location.

Label name: Change the name that appears on the article label.

Custom item numbers: Add your own item numbers (not needed for Exact for Bouw users, where the Exact number is leading).

Exact item number: Enter a 13-digit Exact item number.

Exact unit: Set the Exact unit.

Go to “My Inventory” on bartrack.com and log in.

Select the stock location you want to adjust.

Click the eye icon next to the article to open its settings.

Method 1: via “My Inventory”

Tap the box icon at the bottom right.

Select the location and choose the article.
-
Adjust the settings (order quantity, min/max stock, current stock, reorder level).

Tap “Update.”
Method 2: via search or scan

Search or scan the article.
-
Tap the article and check if it is linked to a stock location.

Open the location and adjust the settings.
-
Tap “Update.”
All changes sync instantly with BarTrack Web & Desktop.
Replace an item number in your inventory
Sometimes an item is replaced by a new number or discontinued. You can replace the item number within a stock location via import:

Log in at order.bartrack.

Go to “My Inventory.”

Select the stock location.
-
Click “Import” and download the sample file.

Fill in:
-
the barcode of the new item number
-
the position of the old item
-
-
Save as CSV (UTF-8).
-
Import the file back into BarTrack and select the correct supplier.
Remove an old item

Search the old article in the stock location.
-
Click the eye icon.
-
Click “Remove from location.”
Note: Custom items are permanently deleted from your stock location.
