What to do if you can't find an item

Some wholesalers allow users to add their own items to the item file. This is useful if you need an item that is not already in the system. Follow these steps to add the item:

Steps to add an item to a wholesaler's item file

  • Go to "My suppliers":
    Open the BarTrack menu and go to "My suppliers." This is where you can manage all the wholesalers you work with.
  • Select the wholesaler:
    Click on the wholesaler to which you want to add the item. If the wholesaler is not yet listed among your wholesalers, click the pink plus button at the bottom right of your screen to add a supplier.
  • Add Items:
    If the wholesaler offers the option to add items to their offerings, you will see a pink button with "Add Items" on the right side of the "Overview Items" bar. Click on this button.

Note: If the pink "Add Items" button is not visible, the user should contact the wholesaler. They can arrange for the desired item to be included in their item file.

  • Enter the article information:
    In the menu that appears, you can enter all the required article information. Make sure you enter all the relevant details to correctly add the item to the item file.
  • Save:
    Press "Save" to add the item to the wholesaler's item file. Be sure to add only items that you are sure the wholesaler has in its assortment, otherwise adding is useless.
