An inventory location label is an essential tool within the BarTrack system to optimize your warehouse management. This label identifies each stock location and provides quick insight into the products and inventory at that location.

How do you print a stock location label?
- Choose the stock location: Within the "My Stock" menu, choose the stock location whose label you want to print.
- Print location code: At the top right, you will see the "Print Location Code" option. Click on this.
- Select a sticker sheet: Next you need to select a sticker sheet on which to print the label.
- Generate and print: A pdf is generated that you can print with your printer. Now it just needs to be sticked on!
How do you use a stock location label?
- Label your stock locations: Make sure each stock location has a clear stock location label. This will make scanning and managing your stock much easier. Activate stock location labels using our support article.
- Quick insight into inventory: When you scan a stock location label, you immediately see in the BarTrack app which products are in that specific location. This significantly speeds up the management process and ensures that you are always aware of your inventory status.
- Detailed item information: Tap an item in the menu that appears after scanning, and you will be shown detailed item information. Here you can adjust the minimum stock, current stock, maximum stock and when to order. You can also see which wholesaler the item came from, the name on the label and the exact position of the item at the stock location.
- Efficient reordering: From this menu you can also reorder items directly, making the inventory management process even smoother and more efficient. Add items that are running low on stock directly to your order list from the same menu.
Tip: Another way to order efficiently is to scan the stickers of the empty positions in the stock locations with the BarTrack Mobile App. This will add the items directly to the order list. For more information, see our support article on efficient ordering with BarTrack.
