Module and user group
Module: Projects
For whom: Orderers with a (Professional) BarTrack account
At BarTrack, we aim to make ordering and managing project materials as simple as possible. When you need materials for a project, you can order them directly via BarTrack from your preferred suppliers. If you work with stock items, you can also link these to a project. In that case, BarTrack automatically creates a pick list, enabling you to pick materials in an organized manner while keeping your inventory accurate at all times.
Creating a new project via bartrack.com
You can easily create a new project using the BarTrack web environment.
Step 1: Go to your projects
-
Log in to bartrack.com
-
Click My Projects in the menu
-
You will now see an overview of all existing projects
Step 2: Create a new project
-
Click the + button in the bottom-right corner
-
Click Create
-
A new screen opens where you can enter the project details
Step 3: Enter project information
Fill in the following fields as completely as possible:
-
Project name – give the project a clear and recognizable name
-
Project number – optionally your internal project or reference number
-
Status – for example: new, in progress, or completed
-
Category – to group projects
-
Delivery date – the desired date when materials are needed
-
Comment – additional information about the project
The Source field is only automatically filled when a project is imported from an ERP system. This requires an active ERP integration.
Step 4: Set the delivery address
The delivery address is the location where the project is carried out and where materials should be delivered.
-
Start by entering the postal code
-
Then enter the house number
-
Street and city are filled automatically
This postcode validation ensures that BarTrack verifies the address exists, preventing incorrect deliveries and unnecessary movements by the wholesaler.
Step 5: Add materials to the project
After saving the project and the delivery address, you can:
-
add materials to order directly from suppliers
-
add stock items that you use from your own inventory
For stock items, a pick list is automatically created. This helps you pick materials in a structured way and ensures your inventory is updated immediately.
