Pick list per project - Creating a new pick list

With pick lists in BarTrack, you can easily organize which stock items are needed for a project. By linking a pick list to a project, you know exactly which materials need to be taken from inventory and can register the withdrawal directly. This helps you maintain control over both your inventory and your project materials.

What is a pick list?

A pick list is an overview of materials that are taken from inventory for use in a project. By confirming the withdrawal in BarTrack, your inventory is automatically updated. This helps you maintain a clear overview and prevents surprises during project execution.

A pick list can be created in two ways:

  • via the Inventory Manager

  • via a Project

Below, we explain both methods step by step.


Creating a pick list via the Inventory Manager

  1. Go to the Inventory Manager in BarTrack.

  2. Click Pick Lists at the top of the page. You will now see an overview of all existing pick lists.

  3. Click the + button in the bottom-right corner to create a new pick list.

  4. Enter a name for the pick list.

    Tip: Use the name of the project for which you need the materials.

  5. Under Move to, select Project.

  6. Select the project to which the materials will be assigned.

  7. Save the pick list.

The pick list is now created and linked to the selected project.


Creating a pick list via a project

  1. Go to Projects in the menu.

  2. Open the project for which you want to create a pick list.

  3. Click Pick Lists within the project.

  4. Click the + button in the bottom-right corner.

  5. Enter a name for the pick list.

    Again, using the project name is recommended.

  6. Under Move to, select Project.

  7. Select the correct project (this is usually preselected).

  8. Save the pick list.

The pick list is now directly linked to the project and ready for use.


Tip

Once you add items to the pick list and confirm the withdrawal, your inventory is automatically updated.

This ensures that project materials are taken from inventory in a structured and controlled way.
